I love Mila way more. That said, given its national rankings I know two girls named Cambria. Weird. One of them is adorable. I've never met the other one (fb friend who I haven't seen since her Cambria was born). Seriously the cutest, sweetest thing I've ever seen so I can't help but have a great association with it.
Loved it on the last post and still do! It is more unusual than what most people would like but a really neat name. I knew a lovely Cambria at one point in college.

I really dislike it. I just think of the like town Cambria, CA.
Plus, it combines two things I don't like "Cam" and "Bree" (Camille/Camilla are exceptions).
Mila is a great name, though.
Yes, that would be my post. I like it. I noticed most people had random weird reasons for not liking it. OP if you like it go for it.
I completely agree with this. It was my favorite name for many years and DH loves it as well. I knew it got a lot of hate on this board so I asked why one day and most people had random weird reasons for not liking it. It is still a front runner for this LO.

It'll always be a place name to me... But then, so are Savannah and Austin, and there's nothing wrong with those. It's kind of pretty, it's not something you see often yet without feeling made up, it has multiple nicknames... And the more I think about it, the more I like it.
If I had ties to Wales, it'd probably make my short list, but I'm too much of a medieval Scottish history nut.
I said the same thing last time. It's not really my style, but I actually really like Cambria! While I think it's fine to get ideas and suggestions from this board, I'd never let a board full of women I don't really know sway me from a name I love. So, OP, I say go for it!

I like it. But the only cambria I knew of pronounce it with a long a. Like cameBreea. Not that it's correct by any means but thats just how she said it.
Re: Be Honest- Cambria
I vote Mila.

Ehh, He isn't crazy about it, but so far, he hasn't been crazy about ANYTHING.
He wants to wait until we find out the sex before he even considers any name.

It is the name of an engineered quartz product.
Mila is our girl name!
It's ok... sounds a bit awkward to me.
I love Mila though!
I was wondering if I was the only one! I'm not a fan. Also not a fan of Bradley for a girl, sounds too masculine to me.. Mila is nice, though.

Hate it for a first name. It reminds me of Coheed and Cambria.

Cambria is a town near where I grew up and the name of an overprice countertop company.
It's not a girl name at all IMO.
Mila is much better.

This doesn't surprise me.
I like the name. I only know 1 Cambria IRL but I saw it a lot in the NICU in Utah.
Good Luck with choosing!

I'm not sure why everyone is hating this name because it's a town...
Austin is a HUGELY popular name, and that's a place. Madison, Paris, Sydney, Brooklyn, London?
How about Georgia that got such great reviews on a different post?
