I have snack twice next month for preschool. I've done snacks at schools before, but we were always allowed to bring in something homemade. The preschool requires that it be store bought, prepackaged and healthy.
I'll just pick up a box of snacks in the flying pig and unicorn aisle.
I assume they just don't want sweets like donuts or chocolate. I saw Halloween snack bags at Target that were pumpkin pretzels and Annie's bunnies.
Is that ok?

I forgot about raisins, duh! Thanks.
They said no fruit unless prepacked or I'd cut fruit up myself to bring in. I know they have prepackages apples, but they taste nasty IMO.
How about cheese sticks (or those smaller cheese square things they sell now) and a whole wheat cracker? DS really likes Kashi pita chips.
Or maybe Kashi cereal bars (or Trader Joe's - they have organic ones for $1.99)
We are not allowed to touch the food. I thought I actually heard it wrong at first.
I just spoke with another parent. We cannot buy a large bag of carrots and break it down into snack-sized bags. It has to be prepackaged into correct portions. We are also not allowed to bring in a one bag and have the teacher break it down into individual servings.
I think I'll just do the bunnies and raisins. This is too complicated. lol
Single-serving apple slices.
