    Well I went crazy that night and drove my husband up the wall because I was in the shower for over an hour with dawn scrubbing my head.  It didn't do any good, the next morning I still was not liking it but not hating it as much.  I am inpatient though and self conscious so I went to the salon.  They added really thin foils that just lightened what I did.  I like it now :)

    Oh good, I'm glad they were able to help!

    I sometimes do my own highlights (about to right now).  I always get nervous but in the back of my head I know that I could always just go to a salon and they will make it better, haha.

    Yes they can and I am sure what ever you do to mess up they have seen 1000x worse.  I wish I could have just reminded myself that during my panic over darker than ideal hair.
