Anyone using the ready to feed formula bottles with the nipple and ring instead of pouring it into a bottle? Any issues with gas or spiting up because there is no bottle ?venting system??
We used the nipples that came with the ready to feed bottles while in the hospital. They have a pretty fast flow, so he would suck up the formula very quickly, spit up and get hungry within a couple hours. When we got home, we started pouring it into our bottles with a slow nipple and he has been better with it. But that is our experience with those nipples. I think the spit up can be attributed to the no vent system and the fact that he is taking in too much too fast.

I keep them in my diaper bag and use them when we're out and about. I haven't had any problems with venting/spitting up. LO does fine on them! I did notice he is a little gassy and toots a little more!

This was our experience as well. I will be taking the slow nipples to the hopsital with me this time around.
