Stomach tightening and less movement

I feel like my stomach has been tight most of the day. There's no pain associated with the tightness, just sometimes a little bit of pressure. Baby also has hardly moved today, which is very unusual for him.

 I guess my question is, would you call? I've had lots of Braxton hicks with this pregnancy, but they seem different than what's been happening today. My OB office will be closing soon for the day and I'm an hour away from it anyway so I'm not sure what to do!

Always safer to call and see what they advise. I'm sure it's nothing, but why worry yourself.

I personally wouldn't call - but my belly has been tight every day this week and the movement has slowed down because she's running out of room. I'm just waiting for any type of serious contractions or blood or anything "weird." However, if you feel like the baby is really not moving around a lot at all, then by all means - call. Better to be safe than sorry...it's personal preference - you know what's best for your body!

I would drink water and lie down and do a kick count. 10 movements in 2 hours. If that doesn't happen then definitely call.

I had this the other day! It felt like when you suck in or flex your stomach but i was relaxed, it was just so tight. I did drink ice water had a little chocolate and did a kick count he kicked a lot more than I was realizing and when i woke up the next morning my belly was normal Try a kick count before calling! 10 movements in an hour.

Thanks for your input everyone!! Baby is moving around like crazy again, so I think all is well!

my doc told me 10 kicks in 30 minutes. I'm going thru the same thing right now, very little movement and high bp. We'll determine at tomorrows appt what to do.
