Anyone have a VBAC success story with a low-lying placenta?? I want a VBAC so bad but my placenta is low and too close to my cervix as of right now (another ultrasound in 6 weeks to see if it has changed). Also my doctor made the comment at the last appointment because he's transverse "he may just stay in this position if the placenta is in the way." Ugh. I've cried way too much about this and I am really hoping someone on here has gone through this with a VBAC success.
Re: Low-lying Placenta
I had low-lying/marginal previa with my first. I had an u/s around 32 weeks to see if it had moved enough, and it had. I would try not to panic - you still have quite a bit of time for it to move.
Do you have until 40+ weeks for it to move up? I would ask for more u/s if it isn't far enough from your cervix at your next one. Good luck!
