More than likely we won't go anywhere for Halloween except maybe to see a friend or two. I'd still like to dress DS up and I'm trying to think of a super easy costume for him so I don't have to spend $25 on one he'll tolerate for 5 minutes if I'm lucky. Like I'm thinking brown sweatshirt, brown pants, a tail, and some ears to be a dog type deal. I can't sew so it has to be really easy to put together. Anyone have or seen any cute ideas?
Re: Super easy DIY costume ideas for toddler?
You could put him in all red and then cut two circles from cardboard or posterboard and paint them red and put a white m on them. The attach straps for over his shoulders and he could be an M&M.
Found this on Pinterest this weekend. I'm thinking about doing it next year.

Martha Stewart has some easy hoodie costumes. I made the shark one for DH one year. I didn't sew, used the iron on no-sew strips and some safety pins.
Over my lunch break I picked up a kid's meal from Wendy's. The toy was two pair of Where's Waldo glasses. It's supposed to be an Indian poker (that has to be very non-PC) type game with cards you set in a slot on top of the glasses.
Until getting those today I hadn't come up with any costume ideas. Now, DS will be Waldo. Target has a short-sleeve red/white striped t-shirt on their website for $8. Find a white hat, sew some red stuff on the bottom with a red pompom on top, throw him in some jeans & he's Waldo!
