hips and back support

I keep reading about how some carriers are bad for babies hips and back. My LO is 9 weeks. What is the best carrier for him that offers the best support for his hips/back? I do not care for the slings, I would prefer a carrier. Thanks!

I second the Gemini! I've tried most every structured carrier and it's my favorite. Less bulky than the ergo and fits me and my husband well. Only downside is that there's no pocket for storage or head coverage. I use a small backpack and sun hat to remedy lol

You want a carrier that mimics an in arms position - so one that offers support to the knees, holds the knees slightly higher than the bum, and keeps baby high and tight on your body.  My siggy link has info on the different options out there that might help you decide.
