Me 41 DH 46 Not actively ttc, surprise BFP on 1/6/11! 4/1/11 m/c our sunshine at 16wks after complications from CVS test. TTC #2 **5th cycle 12/6/11 BFP! Missed m/c at 9 weeks 1/21/12, trisomy 14. Two Chemical PG 3/12&7/12
** BFP 8/16/12 beta #1 148! beta#2 407 beta #3 4000 u/s 9.10 1 lovely hb 126, Baby Boy is due 04/28/13!!

Well I have to change my ticker yet again because my Dr was right the first time, I'm measuring exactly 6weeks 3 days and heard and saw a beautiful heartbeat of 126bpm.. RE officially released us and I have an OB appt in two weeks.
We almost walked out of the appt because we had to wait over an hour and I was so nervous and anxious I couldn't deal, but once he found the embryo we could see the heartbeat right away and both DH and I lost it... it seems so surreal right now but my all day sickness is making it feel undeniably real.

Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
1st BFP-8/17/12! Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US. D&C.
2nd BFP-2/13/13! Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
3rd BFP-5/22/13! By early June, progesterone plummeting. Another loss.
August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

I remember my first ultrasound I was such a ball of nerves also, and the screen was turned away, so I was looking at DH's and the docs faces. They both had an unusual expression on their faces and I kept asking, "Is there anything in there?" I was so scared. Finally they said. Oh yea, you've got two heartbeats. Woah - that was a crazy moment.
Anyhow, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy - you've got yourself a baby!
me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)
MAY 2011 - FEB 2012 - 3 injectable IUI's with numerous cancellations due to high TSH levels
MAY 2012 - onto IVF/ICSI (Antagonist Protocol) on BCP and Folgard (3 week delay - cyst - boooo) 5/21 start stims 5/30 ER 11R 8M 3F 6/2 3DT of 3 6/12 Beta #1 83 | 6/14 Beta #2 196 | 6/21 Beta #3 3818 | 6/28 Beta #4 22,213 | 7/2 1st U/S - 2 on board! 8/24 CVS reveals that we have a boy AND a girl on board!
Healthy baby boy and girl born in February, 2013 at 38 weeks and 2 days!
TTC #2 since July 2010
March 2012 IVF (MDL Protocol) Started stims 3/3; ER 3/11 (9R, 8M, 7F) ET 3/16 (5dt of 2 blasts graded 3AB and 3BA, 3 frosties(!!) Beta 3/26 = 386; Beta 3/28 = 827; u/s 4/11 says TWINS! Boy/Girl Twins delivered at 36 weeks 6 days
Congrats! That's always the big moment. Will they find something? Was it just a trick. Am I wasting time.... Oh wow!!! There's the baby!
Hopefully the all day sickness will ease soon. Enjoy your 9 months and everything to come afterward!
Exactly, You almost feel like it must be a trick until you see it, I just looked at the Dr and said oh well it's good to know I haven't been making up all this morning sickness stuff and there's really a baby in there!

Congrats on a great ultrasound! I remember the horrible wait beforehand with DD (I suffered a loss about 3 months before I got pregnant with her). I'm sure it will be just as bad this time too. :P Yay for symptoms too! That's always a good sign. H&H 9 months to you!
