at 14 lbs the weight gain didn't really start yet, maybe a lb by then?
now I'm at 35 weeks (tomorrow), and have gained 25-26 lbs. By the time the baby is ready I should be up a total of 30 lbs if things continue the way they are.

You ladies are impressive! I'm not shy about mine so I'll share. Maybe make someone feel better.
I'm 24 weeks and gained about 20lbs. I was a little smaller to start so I wasn't suprised to put on a few extra pounds. Seems to be plateauing over the past few weeks. Again...I'm not worried. I eat pretty healthy overall
wow, after reading the other responses I am almost embarrsed to say I have gained 18 pounds in 22 weeks.
I gained 40 lbs with my 1st pregnancy.
I think that's pretty normal though, depending on your starting weight. My starting weight was on the low side of normal; I think my OB would be concerned if my weight gain were as low as many I see posted here. (Not saying that anyone is doing it wrong, just that it depends on your body.)
agreed! And no worries. I'm at 20lbs and 24 weeks. So dont feel bad. And I actually feel pretty healthy. Still wearing some regular pants in fact.
At my 12 week appt I was down 6 lbs... Doctor said it could have been a change in the scales that we used but I weigh myself at home and I'm still at about 5lbs down two weeks later. I don't eat less and have even thrown in some goodies every now and then so I don't know what in the heck is going on!
Boy am I gonna hear it at my appointment next week :-/
15 weeks... Gained 8 lbs in 1st tri due to morning sickness (I'm so backwards) and now that morning sickness is over I've lost the 8lbs and am at a 0 gain/loss. My son was a 10 lb baby and I only gained 28 lbs with him. Once he was out I was only 4 lbs over my pre-preg weight. Kinda hoping for that again.

I gained nothing until about 16 weeks. Now, at 23 weeks almost 10 pounds. I'm supposed to gain about 25 pounds so I'm pretty close to being on track.
