New to bump, TTC and acne question

Hello all, I'm new to the bump and my husband and I are TTC. I went off the pill in July and now have been hit with very annoying acne, which I never had a problem with before I went on the pill....9 years go. I wash my face regularly but it doesn't seem to help.  Any suggestions?

    It's probably just your hormones leveling out. I'd say give it a few months and if it's still bad see your dr. Good luck!

    I had the same problem and it became much worse once I became pregnant.  There are some prescription treatments you can get from your dermatologist that work similar to the pill, but don't block your ability to conceive (tetracyline works well).  You cant use any vitamin A based prescriptions.  You will probably need to go off any prescription upon a positive pregnancy test.  When I found out I was pregnant I was told I couldn't even use basic OTC salicylic acid products.  I cheat a little because the acne has been so bad.

    I can totally relate to this! Never had issues with pimples until I went off the pill. It got so bad, cysts,whiteheads... Scarring because I needed to pop them because they hurt so bad. 

    I tried so many products that had no results. I even went to the derm and she prescribed 2 topical creams that were ok to use while TTC...

    Finally have a system down ... Teatree oil deluded with lots of water as a toner, cetaphil everyday cleanser and aveno moisturizer ( to help heal the skin ) 2 times a day.. It took me months to figure out my skin after the pill.
