I was wondering if your wife is prego and you guys aren't due till next spring or for a while have you guys started buying anything . My wife is 12 weeks now and I wondering if I should Maby  buy desposibl diapers Maby a box a month  so I don't have to get them all at once or is it too early. Is anyone buying anything this early in the game.

We didn't buy anything until week 20 (when we found out the sex) really though even then we didn't buy much. Just a couple outfits really. People will buy you a lot of diapers and stuff like that so I think I'd wait until a later for these things. Make a registry and a list of things that you "have to have before baby comes" and another list of "things that you need after baby is 6 months"  since things like highchairs, 2nd car seat can wait until later".  Then you can look out for sales and buy a couple things from the lists as you can (and mark them off the registry so that hopefully nobody else buys them)

If you do buy diapers just make sure you keep them in the packages in case you need to return them

I would wait until you are well into the 2nd trimester before buying anything.  After week 20, if you are finding out the sex, take a trip to babies r us and start registering for things as a sort of celebration of sorts for that milestone.

You can never have too many diapers, especially for a newborn, so stocking up on those is never a bad thing. However, you may even want to wait on that considering that you will develop a favorite brand after a few changings. Personally we went with the Pampers Swaddlers Newborns for our son as they just seem to fit him better. Buy a box of each brand and compare.  You will know fairly quickly which ones you like best.

Again, you can never have too many diapers for a newborn. When your child arrives you will totally understand why I am stating this over and over again.

I'd probably wait.  Maybe start saving into a "baby fund" for a crib, or something.  Once you get your anatomy scan (18-22 weeks typically), it is usually a good time to start buying a few minor things, or maybe major pieces of furniture.  If you have big families and lots of friends, I'd wait until after the baby shower as you'll get lots of stuff.

We are waiting,  but we did start an Amazon wish list so we can track everything we liked online or in stores and after the baby shower can just shop online.

I also suggest waiting until the 2nd trimester to start buying anything. After the baby shower is when you find out what you really need.
