Can my temp fall but I am actually pregnant?

This is TTC cycle #2.  I am an experienced charter. I would show you my chart but I use paper charts, not FF, sorry bout that. Without fail, the day my temp falls I get my period, at least some spotting. My luteal phase is usually 12-13 days. I am now 14dpo. I POAS yesterday and it was neg. On 9 and 10dpo I had light pink mucousy spotting. My temp fell yesterday, and it's low again today, but still no AF. It's taunting me. I know the only thing that will actually tell me I am preg is if AF shows, so my question is dumb, but I want to know if it's even possible. TIA!

There is a charting phenomenon called "implantation dip" which can occur if your PG- and even if you're not. That little dip can F with your head... but you might have had implantation spotting DPO 10 so see if FMU tomorrow shows anything! GL

An implantation dip does not occur without implantation, which does not occur unless you become pregnant.   I also seriously doubt an implantation dip would occur as late as 14 DPO. Changes in hormones can cause random BBT dips in the LP that are not related to pregnancy.   OP, if you are truely 14 DPO and had a negative test plus a significant temp dip, I'm sorry to say that it's likely that your period is on the way.  Sorry for the mind games!

Technically possible? Yes. However, it sounds like AF will show up soon since you have low temps, spotting, and a BFN.

I hope you have better luck next cycle.

My temp fell Feb 2011 and I am the same as you.  I expected my period that day but it didn't come.  Finally a couple days later (with temps still low) I POAS and it was faintly positive.  A digital the next day confirmed.  When I went to the doctor a couple weeks later though, my pee test was negative but a blood test was positive and I did end up losing that pregnancy at 8 1/2 weeks due to unknown reasons.  So yes it is possible to be pregnant even though your temp drops, but in my case it didn't work out so well.

Possible, but not likely.  Most of the time I get my period the same day my temp nose dives.  Occasionally I don't get my period until a day or two after my temp drops.
