Does anyone else feel like this...

is what's actually inside you?

This girl goes through spurts where she just goes wild and in all honesty, it doesn't feel all that "magical" - it feels like that scene from Alien. I love knowing that she's growing and doing her business in there but it's so bizarre!

Ha ha ha, I love that!  I'm sure I'll feel like that later, but right now what I'm feeling is very muffled due to an anterior placenta.  Oh well.

Haha! Thats great. Dh and I were watching my stomach moving around the other day and he was like Does that hurt?! It looks like its trying to fight its way out!

Ha, that's an amusing picture! There have been a few times where I have wondered what the heck she is up to in there.

I have an anterior placenta so have felt pretty jipped (sp?) in the feeling LO move department  - - - BUT today I was laying down after cleaning and felt my first little punches/kicks which actually made my stomach move and I could see them from the outside!  While amazing, I have to admit one of the thoughts that went through my mind was "this totally reminds me of the alien movies" haha

LOL!  That's too funny.  There have been several times when her kicks/jabs have been so strong that they've totally caught me off guard.  I've let an audible gasp or "holy cow" out a few times!  Not that it hurts, just catches me off guard how strong some of her movements are!

Hahaha that's funny!

I definitely feel like that at times. I've been feeling her for the past two weeks or so, but this week it definitely got more intense. We can feel and see her from the outside now. Most of the time, I love all of her little movements, which are super frequent. However, there have been a few times where she's in an uncomfortable spot and it's painful, I'm not going to lie.

The kicks and jabs sometimes catch me off guard, but even if they start to hurt I don't think they are going to bother me. I've waited so long for this time and every time I feel him/her move, it brings a smile to my face. I don't think that's going to change even when I'm feeling uncomfortable.

The other day I texted SO to tell him it felt like Jacob was having a dance party in there. He's getting big enough that I can feel him across my belly in two different spots. Last night he was tap dancing right around my hip and that's the first time that it really felt uncomfortable. I can see my belly move around too and he seems really active at night. Yesterday I took a late evening nap so I was up until 3 am and he was super active. I worry that he's going to be a huge baby because I felt him at 15 weeks (it was a while before I was sure it was him) and SO felt him a few days before our u/s so before 19 weeks.

I need to go back to sleep- it took me WAY too long to figure out it was a picture of an elephant and not a human fetus  I feel movement that is uncomfortable. She''s facing back, so I feel movement on the inside vs the outside of my tummy. Make sense? It's a very strange sensation, like PP said, almost alien! 

And now I have that song in my head thankyouverymuch!

I love feeling little girl move but you are right some days she goes nuts but then other days nothing or not much at all.

haha too funny!!! my little girl seems to go through phases. some days i get a few bumps here and there, other days shes ALL over the place, punch here, kick there, karate chop that way and this way! then still some days i dont really feel much at all. we havnt fallen into quite a "regular" series yet. few days ago OH felt her for the first time, and when he put his hand down, she kicked him repeatedly 4-5 times in that spot which was unusual!! he was soooo creeped out haha and it felt SUPER weird having it all in the same spot vs. kicks all over.

Lol to funny!!! I love that!! As of now I'm still enjoying the small kicks and movements! I'm sure soon though I'll start to feel it more

All of this! I tried to explain to my DH that it is the most amazing/freaky/weird/miraculous feeling.
