" I don't know how you do it". I got my hair done this morning and then ran a few errands and DH had peanut for 3 hours. He said "I love our little dude but man honey I don't know how you do it" lol. It only took 15 months, not too shabby

HA - I would never hear those words from my DH.  He has had the kids to himself only a handful of times and never for that long or, at least, during nap time (thankfully, both my kids sleep at the same time for naps and for about 3-4 hours).  I have even traveled a TON of times with the kids and not DH...would love to see him do that.  I used to fly a lot with DD#1 her first and second year and now I have driven 5.5 hours about 3-4 times to visit my mom - with both kids.  I can't even imagine what it must be like to have the whole house to myself for a few hours let alone a week at a time and I am sure I will never know - doubt my DH would ever do that.  Still, no recognition and when I tell him to enjoy his peace and quiet or ask him how his week was with peace and quiet, he acts as if it was so hard because he works so he can't relax.
