My DH's name is Benjamin. Ben's middle name is his dad's first name and his dad's middle name was Ben's grandpa's name. We found out that we are having a girl, but we need a boy name just in case the tech was wrong. I am stuck. We would like to carry on that tradition with the middle name, but have no clue for a first name...suggestions??
Also, our girl name is Eliana Rose (Rose was my grandma's name) Ellie for a nick name. Opinions on that name as well please?
Re: Benjamin for a middle name...
Since Benjamin is kind of a long name, I would choose a first name that is short and is only one or two syllables. Here are some ideas:
Noah
Daniel
David
Joseph
Lucas
Isaac
Tyler
Eli
Thomas
Levi
Adam
Louis
Cole
Eric
Chase
Asher
Kyle
Grant
Mark
Trevor
Seth
Reid
Scott
Curtis
Lance
DH's name is Benjamin. Luca Benjamin is my top boy name at the moment.
Eliana Rose is sweet! Eliana is DD's MN (FN is Violet, so a flower name too!).
BFP #1 9/7/10, EDD 5/14/11, Violet born 5/27/11.
BFP #2 4/9/12, EDD 12/16/12, M/C Rory 4/24/12.
BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
Nolan Benjamin (DS's name is Nolan)
Reid Benjamin
Pierce Benjamin
Rhys Benjamin
Dean Benjamin
Ross Benjamin
Niall Benjamin
Elias Benjamin
Leo Benjamin
Aaron Benjamin
Eliana Rose is lovely.
Oh, I think Benjamin goes really well with a lot of names! Shorter names are probably better though, especially if your LN is long too. LOVE the tradition in your DH's family of passing down names - that's really neat!
Noah, James, William, Charles, Adam, Peter, Lewis, Arthur, Michael... Gee... almost anything really.
Eliana Rose is beautiful! Really nice choice
My DH is Aaron Benjamin. Some names I liked for a boy using mn Benjamin are:
Matthew Benjamin
Asher Benjamin
Reid Benjamin
Grant Benjamin
Gabriel Benjamin
Owen Benjamin
Sean Benjamin
Andrew Benjamin (or just Drew Benjamin)
