MFM appt: AW and a ?

I had my appointment with MFM yesterday. I am 30 + weeks and according to measurements (I know they can be off by 1lb+) Baby Boy is just shy of 4lbs and Baby girl 3.5lbs! Keeping my FX for big healthy babies!!

Now for my question. Do you see the same MFM doctor everytime you go? I have been 4 times now I think, maybe 5, but have seen 3 different doctors. It's annoying because I feel like they don't know me at all. Also I wont be seen by them again for 4 weeks, is that normal at this point?

Congrats on a great scan! I also see a different MFM each time. Mine is run like a clinic, so it just depends on which doc happens to pick up my file after the tests are complete. After 24w, I started going every 2-3 weeks and at 32w, I started weekly NSTs/ AFIs/ BPPs. I still do growth scans every three weeks.

I saw the same MFM doctor at each visit. There were different ultrasound technicians but the same doctor. 

Initially, I saw the doctor every 4 weeks. Then it was ever 3 weeks. However, my last visit was at the beginning of August & I won't have to go back unless there is a major problem.

It is my understanding that if the MFM doesn't see an issue that needs to be monitored closely then the visits don't need to be close together. 

Maybe you could request to see one doctor specifically. I did that with my OB practice.
