Saving your kids memories online from facebook

Hi Dads... posted this on another board but looking for a Dad perspective I know some people are reluctant to put their childrens info on facebook, but if you do, is there a way to save all your old posts or memories? Can you recommend any sites you use to save important moments? I get so nervous with all my kids information out there floating around..Im hearing sites like Keep A boo or baby jelly beans Shutterfly are there any recommendations? Likes dislikes?

Re: Saving your kids memories online from facebook

  • On the other board people are loving Shutterfly...Someone else mentioned Lifeables, which i never heard of... I just went and tried it it pulled back all my kids posts i had made for the last three years, it was pretty cool, then I could save them all on their system securely

  • We are torn on the whole online phot album thing. Facebook is becoming no man's land, and I have only posted on pic of the boy there, despite the calls for more pics there. We just do not feel comfortable having our boy out there like that.

I have created a grandparents group in google+ so I can post pics there with only that group being allowed to see them. Even there I am still hesitant.

We continue to just email and text photos and videos to people from our phones, and I store the pics on a memory stick as well.

I just will never trust the intentions of strangers when it comes to my kids being seen online.
