Hi ladies! I don't post here that often, but I thought you might be able to help me come up with some ideas. My H is getting ready to deploy in a few days and I want to get his first care package out pretty soon.
I want to do a "Deployment Survival" theme. I have a few ideas, but not enough to fill a box. I've Googled and mostly come up with ideas for military spouse survival kits, not for the deploying spouse. So, what are some things that you think would be great to send to him?
TIA for any ideas you may have!
Re: Care Package Ideas
Mad Libs. DH said they were making up their own, so I found some (at Old Navy, oddly enough) and sent those.
I also sent some Buffalo Wild Wings sauce because the food where he was needed a little help in the flavor department.
Other than that, I sent typical stuff like pictures. He didn't want/need a lot.
Mad Libs! I didn't even think of that! Good one!
Cake in a jar. Google it, it's awesome. DH loved it. Send it with a tub of frosting.
My DH really liked myoplex, you can get it in individual packets.
Handmade cards, handwritten letters.
Not sure what you mean? Did you have a mobile bump error maybe?
