Just curious about experiences you all have had. My doc didn't seem concerned that ds still uses the paci to fall asleep throughout nap time and night sleep, but I also think I might want him weaned before we have the next baby (late January, ticker is off). For those of you that have done this, did you just do cold turkey for nap and night at the same time and cio if needed? I am expecting that it probably won't be fun, just seeing if there are any tips I guess. Thanks!
Re: Pacifier weaning
DD also only had her paci at naptime/bedtime since 6 months old. We went cold turkey at 21 months.
It was rough for naptime for awhile. Bedtime wasn't much of a problem after a few days.
We introduced a toddler pillow when we took the pacifer away and she loved it (and still does). Since she didn't have any "lovies" that she was attached to, I think the pillow gave her something else to focus on.
The crying is our problem lately. He sttn, but since i started giving him a lovey blanket, the pacifier gets lost in it and then he cries for it.
