Telling co-workers

I work in a small office of about 18 people. I've told a few people - including my boss - but not really the whole office. Do I need to make some sort of announcement - like send an email to everyone? Can I just wait for them to figure it out? I should mention that I work at children's non profit with all women and I'm pretty sure I'm the first pregnant employee.  How did you tell your co-workers?

I told my boss and one other coworker first and then emailed everyone else... my office had about 12 people with only one guy.

I've told my boss and a few coworkers. I'm planning on announcing it to everyone else in my department of about 20 during the next monthly departmental meeting. People not in my department can figure it out later, I barely know most of them.

I work in a really small office - just me, the boss and one other. My boss knows all about my TTC because I had to go through fertility treatments. My c/w probably knows something is up, but I haven't come out yet. I don't feel the need to tell her at this point. Maybe in a few weeks.

I don't know what I'm going to do either. I feel like announcing pregnancy is such an awkward deal. I haven't really found anything more graceful than blurting "I'm pregnant" yet. I don't even know if I'm going to tell my coworkers at all other than my boss and the guy that will have to cover my work while I'm on maternity leave. He won't be happy.

My office is huge, so I don't plan on telling everyone in person.  I'll probably tell a few individuals and let the word spread.  I know there are a few people that won't be able to keep their mouths shut, so I'll just tell them when I'm ready and let the fire spread on its own.

I plan on telling my Manager and Director- and then they will announce it at our daily team huddle.

I haven't told anyone yet and will wait until after my ultrasound before spilling the beans. I'm not that close to anyone right now so I think I'll just let most people figure it out on their own. I'll probably tell a handful of people and my principal in Octoberish.

 This is exactly how I feel! It's so weird to have to walk up to people out of the blue and say - hey, I'm pregnant - It give me total anxiety for reason.
