Excited about our new OT

Since we will be paying out of pocket for OT, we have checked out a few different places in town that our developmental pedi recommended. Yesterday was our final place to check out and DH and I both knew immediately it was the right place. She picked up on things none of our other therapists (or we) ever picked up before. I always assumed DD was hyposensitive  with her hearing since she won't respond to our voices or her name, but the OT noticed DD reacting to every little noise, even the ones I didn't hear myself. 

I feel so much better after our appointment, I finally feel like we found someone who understands DDs difficulties and can help us work on them.

That's great!  We've only been doing weekly OT since the beginning of August, and I've already noticed a difference (we work on things at home, too).  Good luck!  I hope it goes well!

Awesome! Once we started with our current OT, we noticed a huge improvement in DS's sensory issues which let him have his huge language explosion. A good OT is worth their weight in gold. I hope you start seeing improvement soon!
