I was late by 4 days.  I took two EPT test that turned negative.  I took two First Responst tests that had veeeerry faint positive.  Got my hopes way up, But got my period today.  I feel silly for getting so excited without total proof of being pregnant, and no matter how many times my fiancee told me not to get too excited, I couldn't help myself.  I'm feeling pretty down today. And totally surprised at how upset I got, and realizing I wanted this more than I thought.  At 35 I'm worried I don't have much time left.

    Phantom symptoms and iffy hpt results will get you every time.  It's practically impossible not to get your hopes up. You'll learn to roll with those punches, but hopefully not for too long. 

    Welcome to the board.  I wouldn't worry overly much at 35 about running out of time.  There are plenty of women who over 35 who get KU naturally and have happy healthy pregnancies.  

    Good luck, hope your stay is short and sweet.   You might want to start charting to get a better idea about timing etc.

    Welcome - this is a great board.  Like BabyVDM said, highly recommend the charting.
    Me 39 & suspected PCOS, DH 42. Went off BCP when we got married in 11/11, seriously TTC since 3/12.  Six cycles of clomid = BFNs.  Suspected endometriosis & HSG showed both tubes blocked.  Sept 2013 IVF 5D transfer of two perfect embryos = BFN.  Started acupuncture and taking time off to drop some pounds & get healthier before FET in April 2014.
