Just got a call from my midwife saying my iron is low and suggesting that I take liquid iron. Has anyone else done this? I generally find taking iron makes me nauseous suggestions?
I suppose this explains why I am so tired I can't get out of bed.
I take a liquid iron supplement called Floradix. (https://www.floradix.net/) You can get it at Amazon, Vitamin Shoppe or probably your local natural foods store. I take it with food and have not experienced nausea from it, but the really nice thing is that unlike iron tablets it does not cause constipation. It is expensive, though. Hope you feel better!

Floradix is what my midwife recommended for me, too, and said it didn't have the side effects that tablets can have. Unfortunately, when I went to the pharmacy, they didn't have it, so I bought Vitron C. I take the tablet in the evening, as I feel a little nauseas if I take it in the morning. Fortunately, it hasn't given me any constipation, but I think when I'm out of the Vitron C I will seek out the Floradix.
Thanks I went to the drug store and bought the only liquid iron they had enfamil. I tried putting it in with my oj but I still ended up being sick. Do nowi am just trying to eat lots of red meat and leafy greens. Any other suggestions?

This is highly recommended by our MW too.
