my husband is transferring out to irvine, ca and the housing are all a little north john wayne airport . i am wondering what the area is like is it family friendly/safe? i'm a stay at home mom of two so its important we feel safe and have stuff to do. what can you tell me about this area??

I would look into eastside costa mesa, newport beach, irvine or aliso viejo as far as family friendly and safe. Lots of parks, mom activities, low crime. Irvine has the best public schools and park systems. Each of those cities is no more than a 15-20 minute or so commute to John Wayne airport area.
