Where are you in your PAL journey? Gabe is 7 months 1 week today.

What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently? This month...Monday is 4 years since Kam died....I am not handling it very well, and she was supposed to start school last week and we had a trip to Ohio. I am coping, that's about all I can say.

QOTW: Has your LO(s) done anything recently to make you laugh?

He is a goofball, I think he tries to make me laugh sometimes. When you take his diaper off he gets so excited and then if you put it back on he gaggs like you are choking him with it. SO dramatic.

I feel like my life is repeating itself and I am fricken terrified. Let me enlightnen you a bit.

Ok, soooooo. The year Kam died...

My birthday was Sunday the 6th, I had her stay all night with family for the first time so we could celebrate my birthday (huge regret there) on tuesday the 8th. Then we were supposed to leave for Ohio on Friday so she could meet my family. SHe died thurs night on the 10th. She never met my family.

Now I was in Ohio for G to meet them on Sunday, so at least I am past that, my bday is today, I have to make it past the 10th and I am a mess, a certified mess.

Sigh.

GTKY: If you won big on the lottery, what would be your first purchase?

Where are you in your PAL journey? DD will be 3 next month (eek..she is growing too fast!) Due w/ #3 in April

What are some PAL challenges you have faced recently? Trying to get DD to go to sleep on her own. We still get her to sleep by holding her while we read to her and she drinks her milk. I know now we goofed up by waiting this long to try to "sleep train"..but these 3 years have flown by. One minute she is a tiny baby, us holding her bottle etc, and the next thing I know she is almost 3 and it occurs to us $hit! we are still putting her to sleep this way. And with another baby on the way, we really need to break the habit, but I really don't mind our method now as I work all day so it's the only time during the day where it's just me and her

QOTW: Has your LO(s) done anything recently to make you laugh?

Everything!! She is obsessed with Sesame Street, and she has an awesome memory, so I will be doing something on the computer or occupied with something else, and she will be playing, saying word for word "scenes" from certain episodes, and acting them out with the stuffed versions of the characters from the show.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Nothing particular, but it just sucks that out of nowhere, something will happen and remind me of Jack. For instance, a coworker brought in her newborn son today, and all I could think of was Jack was 6 weeks premature, and was bigger then this baby (and had a lot more hair

) and hurts because Jack looked so healthy in all the pictures we have of him. It didn't look frail or sickly.
