and PG with a Boy, what are the things you focus on buying? DD is 3 and I have a crib still, but nothing gender specific. Obviously clothes, but just wondering what else.
Im going to a big childrens sale on Sat morning. We werent planning to find out the sex until Saturday evening with family. But my sale is on Saturday morning. I secretly am trying to convince myself I need to know before everyone else so I can buy for a baby boy. (I FEEL its a boy)...Talk me outta this, I should just be surprised with everyone else and wait till sat night, right?! lol
Re: If you already have a girl...
Well, I don't know about waiting to be surprised, but as I'm now having a boy, and already have a girl (4 years), we're focusing mostly on clothing yes. We still have all the basics and big stuff from DD (crib, bassinet, swing stroller/carseat stuff...) We sorted through all of DD's old clothing for anything neutral, but people liked to buy her a LOT of pink, so there isn't much left over.
So, on the thought that we'd had even before we found out gender, you can focus on neutral clothing: white, blues, greens, yellows... and anything else you wouldn't mind on a boy or girl.
I have five girls. It's too early to tell of course, but the Chinese gender chart is predicting a boy, lol.
IF this turns out to be a boy I'll be buying all the exact same things I used before - just not so foo-foo. Car seat, stroller, boppi pillow, etc. I can't see doing anything different. So much stuff is pretty gender neutral anyway.
