Halloween Costumes

I was in Walmart this morning and noticed they had costumes out - anyone given any thought to what their kids will wear.

Since we moved we do not really know anyone and probably wont take ds trick or treating but they have a party at daycare so he needs some kind of a costume.  Last year he was a monkey, this year maybe elmo I am not sure.

Not sure yet, I asked my DH what he thought the other day and he said she should be a princess.  Not my first choice, but I will probably let him go with it

I think DD is going to be a lion.  She loves roaring like one!

I'm pretty sure Joslyn is going to be Abby Cadabby for Halloween this year. I'm going to try making her costume, so I'm pretty excited!

I'm not sure if I'm going to bother or not. DH won't be home so it'll just be me with the girls. I was gonna go with my one mommy friend, but she won't be here either. Neither of the kids are old enough to have a clue what's going on, so it'd mostly just be to have pictures to look back on. Meh. We'll see.

I look at the costumes but haven't decided on one. I don't know if I want to dress the boys up in something themed or let them be individuals. Or maybe a 1.5 month old shouldn't even partake in anything Halloween related? I dunno!

My MIL offered today to take DS1 trick-or-treating but he really has no clue so I don't know what to do.

I'm dying to get DS the Max costume of Where the Wild things Are. They have an adorable one at Pottery barn. Thing is, it's 70 dollars . I don't know. Im a frugal mom. More than 50 dollars for a costume that's used once seems outrageous lol So, I don't know. Maybe I'll just give in!

my 20 month old will be a dinosaur. he is so into dinosaurs.  got it at once upon a child used kids store for $7.50 and it was barely used.
