Moping and eating ice-cream

I have had a horrible couple of days. I was with my Grandma this weekend and she passed out, I caught her, and we ended up having to call 911. I thought I was going to lose her and was terrified. She is OK now, but I am a bit scarred.  

We lost an offer on our house and after 3 years I am beginning to realize that it is never ever going to sell. I am not even sure we can get our mortgage down to a payment that we can rent it at, so we may be stuck in this hell-hole. It is just not somewhere I would ever want to raise a child, but then again, I probably won't have the chance to anyway.

Baseline went fine today, but my Gyn had to do a bacterial panel culture today to make sure all my craziness downstairs is gone. If its not, we may or may not have to cancel our cycle.

I just feel like things stopped going right for us years ago, and why is it going to get any better just because I want it to. I hardly even want to do this transfer. It just feels like an exercise in futility.

DH is on travel, so I am home alone eating ice-cream watching TV and trying to keep my self-pity in check.

Awww, sweets.  I'm sorry you're down.  I get it.  As we get further into the cycle, I'm having all of the same thoughts you mentioned. It's hard to see things ever going right. I wish there was something I could say to cheer you up.  Just know you're not alone. Big hugs.

It does make me feel better to know I am not alone, but it also makes me even more angry at IF that so many awesome women like you have to go through this sh!t. Why can't the murderers and child abusers be the ones going through this instead?

I feel like what you said sums it up exactly: that things just stopped working out a few years ago. That's exactly how I feel sometimes... Ok, a lot of the time.

Scoobs I still remember the day when my grandmother collapsed right in front of me. I thought it was the end but resilient as she was, she bounced back again. Sadly, that image haunted me for a while. I am sorry you have had to go through that.

I am sure that DH being away is making this worse for you but you are going through a lot, not only with IF but life cr.ap that shouldn't be in our lives. Hugs to you lovely lady.

I'm sorry you are having a hard night!  It is very scary to see someone collapse in front of you.  I'm so sorry you had to go through that!  

Things need to turn around here.  I hope our board gets a streak of BFP's soon!

aww, I hope everything with your grandma is ok and it's hard to not look at all the bad going on....I've been trying to focus on all the good things in my life, it helps sometimes!  Do some self pampering!!
