failed induction and vbac

Hi! I am 30 weeks pregnant with #2.

I was induced at 41 weeks + 3 days with #1, started on cervidil and then pitocin the next morning. After 17 hours of contractions I was still at 0 cm. 

Anyone have a similar story? I would like to try for a vbac but have not discussed in depth with my ob. I know they will not induce, but I'm not sure how long they will let me go. With #1 they were pushing for 41 weeks (no later). 

I just wanted to see if anyone had a successful vbac after having a failed induction/ never progressing with #1.
