Gross Discharge Question

Over the last 24 hours, I've had an increase in discharge that is very yellow and smells...not bad, but different than usual. Almost sweet? But, not really. I don't know. These things are hard to judge. It's not enough that I really think it's amniotic fluid or anything, but DH did say in the middle of the night last night he cuddled up to my butt and my underwear and the sheet were pretty moist. When he told me this morning, everything was dry.

Sorry, for the TMI, just curious what you guys thought.

I would probably call your OB to get tested for a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis, just in case.

As far as the moisture goes, if you're anything like me, you probably just get hot down there, especially at night. I've had that going on for months now. My OB suggests skipping underwear at night to help air circulation down there.

They do say sweet-smelling can mean amniotic fluid. It's probably nothing, and just the standard pregnancy slow waterfall- so over this! But if you notice a change in smell it would be worth checking out I think.

Unless it increases, I think I'll just wait and ask my MFM on Friday. We'll be able to see my fluid levels then, too, so I guess we'll know for sure. If it picks up more, than I'll probably go ahead and call.
