Hi, I just want to let you know the baby steals has a rearz french velour fitted diaper on sale,is a pack of 5 fitted for $39,if any one is interested you must get it before tomorrow 9am,after that will be another sale.
I bought some of these the last time they were on Baby Steals, but haven't used them yet. The laundry tabs, I know from prepping, are fairly pointless, so I started just fastening the diapers inside out while washing. Otherwise, they seem to maybe run big. The main reason I haven't used them is they look ginormous and bulky. Maybe I'll pull one out and try it on the next girl to need a diaper change and report back.

So: I tried them today. Some of the serging around mine is already looking crappy and they've only been prepped. They fit weird-- like, I can't imagine them being tight around the legs, but they're a fitted, so I guess the cover solves that problem. The velcro sucks. They're not terribly absorbent, at least not any moreso than my MF pockets. The velour inside is nice against baby's skin, but that's about the best thing about them. They claim to be semi-water-resistant, I guess to try and be the kind of fitted you wear around the house without a cover? They were leaking through to the outside long before the interior was soaked, so those claims are bunk. Considering I paid like $10/diaper, I'd rather have Alvas for my money. I may sell these or just plain trash them.
