cheese?

Wouldn't mind giving LOs some soft cheeses but not sure what cheese to try, any suggestions? what has your LO liked? We just bought some freshly made goat cheese with sundried tomatoe not sure it thats too much for them, thoughts? TIA

we just started giving my LO cheese and we started with cheddar from the deli counter. they say get it from the deli counter only so that there is not a ton of added junk in it. we just rip little pieces off the slices for him and he just cant get enough of it! i read this website and it is a great help! https://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/feedingcheesetobaby.htm

I used mozzarella cheese sticks and cut them into bit sized pieces.

I give cream cheese on toast, whole milk mozz in her lunch box, or whatever i have shredded in the fridge to make grilled cheese.

We've tried cheddar cheese and provolone cheese because thats what we happened to have in the fridge. I tore the slices up into small pieces and DD loves them.

I've given DS cut up pieces of Kraft tomato basil string cheese. It's on the mild side but still has a nice flavor.

We cut up tiny cubes of colby or cheddar cheese, DS LOVES cheese.

DS loves cheese!   I buy the Kraft Crumbles because they are already bite size and I can just pour some out in the tray while I'm making the rest of his meal.  It was easier for him than the shredded.

Really, anything goes. DS now eats anything except honey!

My son loves cheese - cheddar, jack, swiss, gruyere, goat, cream cheese, feta, gorgonzola, parmesan, mozzarella - he hasn't met a cheese he hasn't liked.

Goat cheese is some pretty strong flavor to start your LO out on...I would recommend going with something a little more mild and bland.  I started with mozzarella.

DD loves Kraft cheddar, and is ok with their swiss cheese singles. I just tear them into roughly 1in squares and she grabs it out of my hands. I like the idea of the Kraft crumbles, because then she can just pick them up herself off the tray.

I am not a fan of cheese AT ALL!! I will not be giving her any soft cheeses unless DH happens to have some on hand.
