Thank you so much for asking, we love it! I got it Thursday night, and since then I've worn it with him to the mall, grocery shopping twice, a walk, and I uses it a few times a day to go outside to water the yard (we are growing new grass in some areas of the yard and it needs watered all the time.) He has fallen asleep in it twice now and he likes being able to look around and chew on the straps that go up to my shoulders. I'm so glad I got it, it is so much better on my back than the moby, and it is super easy to take on and off. In the mommy and me thread I posted a pic I took of him in it. It was in a mirror but I think he looks pretty cute in it. Also, I got the Aussie Khaki color and I like it a lot too.
That's good to know. I'm still trying to decide between the Ergo and the Beco Gemini. I think DH may be better with the Ergo though. Decisions, decisions.

Oh that's great!! Yes, I went and had a look at the Mommy&Me and he looks very happy in there:) I also like how easy it is to take on/off. You'll get a lot of use out of it now! Esp. if you have more kids too;)

I've heard good things about both, they were the two I was deciding between. I have a bad back and was scared just to waste my money so I got the moby at first. I wish I got the ergo from the start. For me, the ergo is so much easier to take on and off and there is no comparison on my back.
I have a Gemni and I like it but LO doesn't seem to love it. I originally had a bjorn and returned b/c it killed my back. He seemed happier in that. I haven't used it all that much though.

Hands down, the Ergo is my absolute favorite baby item. It always gets him to nap when I am desperate, he LOVES being so close to me, it is comfortable and I dont get backaches, and it's helped me lose weight (Since it adds +16 lbs when I walk w him!) - plus DH actually likes it and it's ergonomic for baby, as opposed to the front carriers. The Gemini looks good too, but I am partial to the Ergo. I feel like he just gets into a really great quiet/contemplative state and relaxes in it when we walk, and I've been to restaurants while wearing it and was able to eat while wearing him too. The only thing I haven't been able to do is nurse but that's bc I have huge boobs and it's just awkward for me. I've seen my girlfriends do it though, and am jealous that they're able to
I also love that I will be able to use it to carry him on my back.
If you don't want to invest the $$$ for a new one, getting a used one in decent shape is a great idea. I actually just bought a 2nd one used off craigslist for $20!

Same here! My back was really bad after the pregnancy too (and after
shooting a few weddings during the pregnancy - ugh!) and the ergo was
soooo much easier to do than anything else, including actually carrying
him! Lol... also thank god for chiropractors.
