Hi....
I have "Irish Twins" that are 8 months apart... and we hope to have another (via adoption so timeline is unknown).... the likelihood is that we will definitely have 3u3 considering my eldest is 21 months old.
Since the timeline is unknown, it is tough to plan but I am trying to tackle some big items.
What do you do w/strollers? Take two out when you go? Wear one and push two?
Carseats- Does anyone have a sedan and not an SUV? We drive a Volvo S80... I can't imagine another carseat in the backseat but i understand it is possible How tough is it dealing with three seats in a row.
Has anyone put all three in the same room? We don't have to do that but I really like having my two share a room.... and it seems logical and possible to have a third crib.
While I doubt this will happen... it is possible... does anyone have 3u2?
TIA
Re: Logistics- 3u3
I don't have three under 2 but I have some ideas.
1) You can put three seats in a sedan. Two of the narrowest seats are the radian and combi coccoro. I can fit three across in my honda civic. (we have a van for when we have the whole family together and for trips).
2) I have all five in the same room right now. It was easier to put all the kids in one room and convert the other in to a "dressing room" with all of the clothes, diapers etc. It works well, but my youngest two are down to one nap a day (after lunch) and all the kids go to bed at 8pm. I'm not sure how it would work out with kids going down for naps at different times.
3) Strollers we have a double (actually a few) and the older ones walk, and the little ones ride. For 3 under two I would absolutely get a good carrier (I'd rather keep the LO in the infant seat in the stroller and carry the middle or oldest though, just my preference)
Good luck and congrats! Adoption is wonderful, it's so nice to hear success stories!
We are excited but at the same time when I do things with my two I wonder how we'll accomodate a third. Clearly you are making it work
Target.com has some tripple strollers. I saw them when I was looking for a double stroller
