Need opinions on middle name

We really want our baby girls middle name to be a family name. We've decided on the first name, Faith, but since it's one syllable, it's making it hard to come up with a middle name. My moms middle name is Ann and my MIL middle name is Lynn, so what do you all think of Analyn? Does it sound made up? Or should it be spelled Annalynn? I feel like it's too long that way.

Analyn sounds completely made up (it also has the word "anal" in it).

Faith Ann and Faith Lynn both sound fine; Faith Anna would be another option.

Are either your mom or your MIL's first names workable? Or their maiden names?

There's an actress on the new 90210 name AnnaLynne McCord. 

I agree, that with the short one syllable first name like Faith a multi-syllabic middle name works best. 

Faith Annalynn is nice, but kind of a mouthful to be honest. I do like how it reflects your family, and really how often do you use first name & middle name? I'd spell it double N's times two.

Thanks for your opinions. My mom's first name is Ruth and MIL is Rachelle, which could work...but really don't want to it be solely after my MIL. That's why I liked that it was a bit of both.

NOT Analyn.  The word "anal" should NOT be in a child's name.  I'd be reluctant to go with Annalynn as well for the same reason.  A two part or hyphenated middle name might be the better option.

What's wrong with Ruth?  It's DD's middle name, and we were considering using it for her first name.

I'm not really into smoosh names, but I don't think Annalynn is bad as a middle name.

Nothing wrong with Ruth. I just don't think Faith Ruth flows at all. Maybe because I haven't written it out, but, I never saw that anal was in it! Thanks for the heads up Back to the drawing board I guess.

I work in a lab that deals with a terrible chemical closely related to benzene called aniline. This name is pretty much just that.

I wouldn`t do it.

Maybe Lynette would work.
