humidifier necessary in Seattle?

Is a humidifier necessary, or helpful, in the Seattle area for our nursery?

Are you thinking for everyday use? We only use one when LO is sick.

We also find one very useful for when the kids are stuffed up, but not necessary for every day use.

We used ours a ton for K's first year and a half.  She gets cold at night, and in the winter it really helped when she had the sniffles.

We use one in our bedroom every night because I find the air Seattle to be pretty dry, but we moved here from a very humid area so we may just not be used to it yet.nbsp; I have been thinking about getting one for the baby's room, but I don't know if she'll need it as much as we seem to!

Really? We moved from a very humid area too but I feel the humidity is worse up here. We actually had to get a dehumidifier bc our house was getting a funky musty smell.

We only use it when she's sick & congested, but definitely noticed it being helpful when that happened.  They're not too pricey and nice to have on hand!  :)
