Has anyone tried Echo or Omni? Are they bulky? I like the idea of being able to use this diaper when we are out. It seems like it would be really easy to carry extra pods with me. Any thoughts on the diaper would be great! Thanks!
Someone just asked this not that long ago (maybe yesterday?) either way, I had an omni and hated it. They're bulky, you can't really reuse the shells, and if you don't get the sizing exact you get leaks. I prefer either best bottoms or flip diapers for a trim, on-the-go option, you can reuse the shells if they get wet (a major downfall of the softbums.)

I use Softbums. I've used them almost exclusively since my son was five days old. I like them a lot. The pp was correct in that you can't rinse them off and reuse them if they get poop on them. You can, however let them dry if they get wet, per the manufacturer's instructions. I do it all the time and never have any issues with rashes or stink unless they've been in the diaper pail for a day or two. Also, you do have to make sure that the sizing is correct or you'll either get leaks or red marks. My son has chunky thighs, so he gets red marks a lot, and not just from the Softbums. I have both the Echo and the Omni. I prefer the Echo because it's a trimmer diaper. The pods are absorbent. I like that about them. I have a boy, so I fold the pods in front to catch as much of the wetness as possible. I even use them in my pockets. I would say to give one a try.
