I've read multiple articles that state younger babies should only face in. My Maya wrap's instructions said babies with decent head control should face out in the kangaroo pouch position. What is best for baby in a ring sling?
It's ok to do the outward facing position if you want (you CAN do it; it's not a must)- I'm not a fan because even though it does keep baby supported properly, it is hard on the wearer's back to have baby away from your center of gravity like that. A hip carry is a better option IMO. But it's fine to try and use as long as you find it comfy
