Our day care provider has been on vacation, so this week my mother in law and sister in law were taking turns caring for Chase while DH and I were working. Chase has a peanut allergy, which they are very aware of. They both know that if they want to feed him a "peanut butter" sandwich, that they can use Sunbutter since it is not processed in a facility that processes peanuts. Apparently they were so worried about not giving him peanut butter, that the ended up passing the jar of sun butter back and forth and giving him sunbutter and jelly sandwiches every day rather than feeding him any of the other things that he can eat. Even my SIL's two boys had sunbutter and jelly sandwiches with him three days in a row. I wonder if they were confused.
Since it was only a week, I don't really have a problem with this, but I thought it was funny.
Has anyone ever had something like this happen?
