Reflux could be caused by foremilk/hindmilk imbalance too! If you are way engorged or dealing with oversupply, LO gets a lot of the fat and lactose from the foremilk which can cause spitting up and difficult digestion (this is what happened with me!!!)
I would suggest pumping from the opposite side that you are feeding from, but just for small amounts of time! Like maybe just 4-5 minutes at each feeding? If you pump a lot it will encourage milk production which contradicts the purpose of block feeding. When this happened to me, my LC consultant advised I only pump enough from the engorged side to "take the edge off." I would easily get 3-4 oz in 4 minutes. If your getting less just combine a few bottles? Make sure they are the same temp when you combine them though!!! Hope this helps!!
