DH is taking me out tonight and I need to come up with dinner to leave for the sitter and DD. Pregnancy brain and dislike of food has me coming up with nothing. What do you leave for dinner when you have a sitter? I remember one family I babysat for left mac and cheese or McDonalds every time but not going to leave that because she doesn't get fast food and I gave her organic mac and cheese for lunch.
Re: Quick meal for LO and sitter?
That's a good idea. I'm sure she could find something. DH came home and found tortellini and I am whipping up some pesto. Would still love suggestions for in the future.
Same here. I feed Cole before we leave, and our sitter is DH's 15 year old cousin, so I tell her hey there's frozen pizza, Mac and cheese, rice on the side packages, ravioli, stuff like that and tell her to help herself.
She knows Cole doesn't like any of that stuff, and I'll tell her there's Cheerios for snacks and whatever fruit I have on hand. When I was babysitting the kids were always fed dinner before I came over, but I had to make whatever I picked out of the cupboards
