Crib bumpers are only safe for the first 6 months of your child?s life?. REALLY?

I love how in all of the forums on crib bumper safety that majority of the moms out there really do believe that the traditional crib bumper dangers magically appear after their child is a few months old. That could not be farther from the truth. Well, I guess it could be true to a certain extent ? when your child is old enough to understand the dangers themselves. That would be when they are too old to physically fit in a crib. The dangers that come along with the traditional bumpers include a risk of suffocation, entanglement, and using it as a step stool to propel themselves out of the crib.  Any rational person would understand that these risks do not just magically appear after a few months.  They are there the entire time.

The other popular thing to do is to have a naked crib, just a mattress with a sheet on it. That does not sound too appealing either. Even in prison you are given a pillow and a blanket.  Babies roll around at night and I don?t know about you but I sure wouldn?t want to be woken up by smacking my head against a piece of hard wood.  Parents, there are safer and more comfortable options out there. You just have to seek them out and try them.  After trying many different options I found the wonder bumpers. They come with no risks, provide comfort, allow air to pass through the crib, and my child?s limbs no longer get caught between the crib bars.
