Both of these were top names on our list! I do like Alexa more than Alexis though. We really liked Alexa as a nn, so we were actually thinking of naming our LO Alexandra and calling her Alexa. However, we ended up straying away from both names.
Either way, I love them both and you can't go wrong.

My name is Alexia, but I would say 75% of people who meet me for the first time (reading my name off of something) think my name is Alexa. So I just go by Lexi.
