Baby Movement Feeling Like Waves?

Hi All --

I'm in week 19 with my first baby and for the last 2 days have felt what I can only describe as a wave-like sensation in my lower belly? Is that the baby and what would he or she be doing? It almost feels like rolling.

Anyone experienced this?

yep that's your baby!  My first basically did this the whole pregnancy and started at 16 weeks.  DH even got to feel it this early bc she literally rolled from one side to another.  Congrats

Yep. That is the baby! :-) He or She is probably rollingover or pushing off of you. It is such a neat feeling! You will start to feel alot more movement in the next few weeks. I felt my first about 20 weeks.

Thank you for asking this. I have been feeling the same feeling and I am just shy of 16 weeks. I thought I was crazy or making it up. It has been going on for a few days. My dog has even been laying on my belly-almost like she can hear it or something. I am excited that this means baby is moving around!!!
