Okay- help if you can.  When I go to my profile I have added a picture there.  However the little dinky one by my name in posts is the cartoon.

Did you just add a photo or did you go to the "Update Avatar and Siggy" section?

 

Also, you don't have to do a test post... any posts you have done previously will reflect the new changes.
