i have to google if breastmilk is ok, what medicines i can or cannot take... also i heard cold medicine dries up breastmilk?

and worst of all, can/should i be around the babies?????  how is hubbie going to do it?  he doesn't like crying.

Definitely hydrate, take Tylenol cold formulas (safe for pregnancy and bfing) and nurse your LOs.  The breastmilk will develop real time antibodies to the virus you're fighting.  GL!

ETA: antihistimines may dry you up, avoid if you can, if  not, hydrate hydrate hydrate

I'm coming down with a cold too.  It sucks.  I don't have any advice on what to take.  I got quite a few colds, but never took anything with DS1 b/c I was so afraid of my supply drying up.  You should BF though so you can pass your antibodies to LOs.
