Sorry to hear you are getting the run around from social workers. I'm a social worker myself (although I don't work in foster care) but I know SW's at the Department of Social Services have ridiculously high case loads. Not trying to make excuses for them though. I contacted my local DSS to get more info about F2A, I made the initial call at the beginning of August (I was hoping to talk with someone before I went back to work mid-August). Apparently the person I left a message for wasn't the right person, another person called me back. I continued to play phone tag with her for 2 weeks. She finally says in one message to leave my address and she would mail me some info (this was the 16th). I just got the info in the mail this past Friday. I hope you are able to get in touch with someone soon!
