Success stories with 3rd IUI...looking for hope

Hey Ladies-

Currently in the dreaded 2WW...(actually 1 week post IUI). Was looking for some success stories on 3rd times the charm! Some time it helps pass the time listening to your stories of success!

How many follicles did you have when you did IUI?

BTW: I had THREE mature follicles all over 20mm!

    IUI #3 was my lucky cycle.  And definitely going into it was not optimistic at all - just had polyp surgery (to remove 3 large polyps in my uterus), had 1 mature folly and there was no improvement in DH's: count, morph and still lots of white blood cells.  Even my doctor was getting my files and me geared up for cycle #4 where we would be switching from clomid to injects.

    Sounds like you are having a really good cycle - so hoping that #3 is lucky for you as well.

    Third time was the charm for me, femara, ovidrel, and IUI. GL, hopefully it works for you too!
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Good luck! It sounds like you have a good chance. On my BFP cycles, my follicles were 20-24 at trigger, as opposed to my BFN cycles where they were 17-18 at trigger.

    We did TI, but were a "third time's the charm" case. After a miscarriage in April on our first Clomid cycle,  we had two cycles without success before this BFP.

Beta 1 (16 dpo): 477, Beta 2 (19 dpo): 1568, Beta 3 (21 dpo): 3560 Aug 24 - 5w ultrasound - 1 8mm gestational sac Aug 31 - 6w ultrasound - 1 empty 15 mm gestational sac - possible blighted ovum - Beta 41,716 Sept 7 - 7w ultrasound - 2 sacs, heart beats, and fetal poles - TWINS!!     Similar to one of the other posters, I was a "third time's a charm" cycler as well. Details are in my siggy, but I had 2 mature follies on IUI #1. Lining was perfect, i think follies were around 19mm each, and resulted in BFN.

    Second cycle was Clomid + TI only and BFN also. I didn't have a whole lot of monitoring that cycle since I was traveling (shame on my RE!). Last cycle which was my BFP I had 4 follies (ranging from 18-23) two on each ovary and did CLomid + ovidrel and TI.

    GL! I am hoping you get to join PAIF soon!!!
