Is your DH still in the military? If so, what base is he at?  We just moved to Ft Meade in July.

    No, he got out of the Navy in 2006. His last station was Dahlgren, VA and now we are in Loudoun County, VA where I grew up. I think it would be like 1.5 hours between the two. Do you like it around DC so far?

    Oh okay.  I don't mind it here, it's just really humid.  I like that it's easy to get to a lot of different places. I've only made it out to DC once, but I plan to go more when it cools off a little bit.  It's weird having an actual summer again. I was in Germany the last 2 years and the weather is cold/hot all the time.
